Scholtens Earns Wound Care Certification

Meghan Scholtens, a registered nurse for Washington Regional Medical Center’s inpatient wound ostomy, recently earned designation as Wound Care Certified (WCC) through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy. To earn this designation, RNs must meet certain eligibility requirements and pass a nationally administered exam. Scholtens, who has been with Washington Regional since 2018, earned a bachelor of science in nursing from William Jewell College.
