Falls are the leading cause of unintentional injury and deaths for people over age 65 and a leading reason for emergency room visits in the United States each year. Many falls can be avoided through simple preventative measures. This event will discuss fall prevention topics such as home safety, safety in the community, talking with your physician, exercise, vision and medications.
