At Washington Regional, we are committed to the health and safety of our patients, visitors and team members. Providing safe, compassionate care is our top priority, and we’ve taken extra steps in our hospital, emergency department and clinics to keep you safe.

Emergencies don’t stop for COVID-19, and delaying care can have negative consequences for your health. If you have a serious injury, illness, or signs of a heart attack or stroke, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department immediately. We’ve taken the following measures in our Emergency Department for your safety and peace of mind:
- COVID-19 self-screening upon entry for all patients, visitors and staff
- Face masks provided for all visitors who are not fully up to date on all current CDC recommended COVID-19 vaccine doses, including boosters
- Separate treatment rooms for patients with respiratory symptoms to prevent spread of germs
- Separate waiting rooms with social distancing for patients with respiratory symptoms
- Modified visitor policy, for the safety of our patients, visitors and staff
- Enhanced cleaning and infection control practices, including use of UV-light robot technology
