Volunteers

Volunteers offer supportive services for patients and their families. The volunteers are trained to listen and provide practical help, such as:

  • Bereavement support
  • Delivering supplies/medication
  • Limited homemaking chores
  • Listening and caring
  • Respite care
  • Running errands
  • Staying with patients
  • Visits/phone calls

Washington Regional Hospice volunteers are screened and required to complete training and continuing education.
