Volunteers

Please note, the hospice volunteer program is temporarily suspended due to the current pandemic.

Volunteers offer supportive services for patients and
their families. The volunteers are trained to listen
and provide practical help, such as:

  • Bereavement support
  • Delivering supplies/medication
  • Limited homemaking chores
  • Listening and caring
  • Respite care
  • Running errands
  • Staying with patients
  • Visits/phone calls

Washington Regional Hospice volunteers are screened
and required to complete training and continuing education.

For more information, please call 479-463-7385
