Farees Farooq, MD, Joins Washington Regional Gastroenterology Clinic

Farees Farooq, MD, recently joined the Washington Regional Gastroenterology Clinic, located inside Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic at 3344 N. Futrall Drive in Fayetteville, where he provides evaluation and treatment of disorders and diseases of the digestive system, as well as preventive wellness and diagnostic endoscopy procedures. Farooq has more than 20 years of experience in gastroenterology and provides advanced gastroenterology procedures including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, luminal stenting and endoscopic mucosal resection.

Farooq earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed an internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship and advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. Farooq most recently served in private practice at Gastro One in Germantown, Tennessee. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
