Team-Based Approach
Washington Regional Plaza Internal Medicine takes a team-based approach to patient care with both resident and supervising physicians seeing patients side-by-side. Resident doctors from the UAMS/Washington Regional Internal Medicine residency program see patients in the clinic as part of their specialized internal medicine training. Resident physicians are available for both acute and preventative care appointments, and an attending physician supervises all clinic visits with residents. This team-based approach provides patients with longer appointments and more time to talk with a doctor about your care.
