Washington Regional Welcomes OB Hospitalists

Drs. Curtis Boyd and Rachel Farrell recently joined Washington Regional’s OB hospitalist group. OB hospitalists provide care for laboring patients at Washington Regional’s Women and Infants Center until their regular OB/GYN can arrive. They also deliver babies of patients who do not have a regular OB/GYN or if the patient’s regular OB/GYN cannot be present.

Curtis Boyd, DO, earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Texas Tech University of the Permian Basin. Boyd has provided OB/GYN services in Texas, Arkansas and Missouri since 2012, most recently with the OBHG hospitalist group. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

















Rachel Farrell, MD, earned her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Farrell has provided OB/GYN services in Arkansas since 2011, most recently at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas and Willow Creek Women’s Hospital. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
