Washington Regional to Host Falls Prevention Education Event

Falls are the leading cause of unintentional injury and deaths for people over age 65 and a leading reason for emergency room visits in the United States. Washington Regional will hold a free falls prevention education event:

2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education
2422 N. Thompson St., Ste. B in Springdale

Washington Regional Trauma Education & Outreach Coordinator Brittany Berryman, RN, will share prevention tips and information about home safety, staying safe in the community, talking with your physician, exercise, vision and medications.
