Washington Regional Named a Forbes Top Hospital
Washington Regional Medical Center has been named one of
Forbes Top Hospitals for 2026. The inaugural list evaluated acute care hospitals across the country to provide patients with information about high-quality, high-value medical services. Of the 2,500 hospitals that met Forbes’ inclusion criteria, only 762 hospitals, including four in Arkansas, made the list.

Forbes used data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Provider Data Catalog to assess hospital best practices, value, and patient experience. Patient outcomes, such as rates of survival, mortality, infection and readmission, carried the most weight on each hospital’s overall rating. Outcomes were adjusted for social drivers of health including socioeconomics and access to medical services to account for differences among hospitals’ locations and patient populations.
