Washington Regional Designated an Aetna Institute of Quality® Facility
Washington Regional has been designated as an Aetna Institute of Quality® for total joint replacement and spine surgery. Washington Regional is the only hospital in Northwest Arkansas to achieve the designation.
A facility earns IOQ status by consistently delivering safe, effective care. Aetna makes information about the quality and cost of that care available to its members, which helps them identify facilities that meet their special health care needs.
“Earning Aetna Institute of Quality® status reinforces the dedication of our physicians, nurses and staff who work together every day to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Kasha Pinkerton, director of quality and research at Washington Regional. “This recognition underscores our continued focus on meeting the needs of patients across Northwest Arkansas.”
The
Washington Regional Total Joint Center offers both conventional and robotic-assisted elective hip and knee replacement surgery provided by a specialized team of surgeons and staff, all focused exclusively on helping joint replacement patients maintain their functional independence and improve their quality of life.
The Washington Regional Spine Program, part of the
J.B. Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute, encompasses a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to treat disorders and injuries of the spine. The team includes experts in conservative spine care, interventional pain management and neurosurgery.
