Stephanie Carpino, MD, Joins Washington Regional Obstetric (OB) Hospitalist Group
Fayetteville, Ark. — Stephanie Carpino, MD, recently joined Washington Regional’s OB hospitalist group, where she cares for laboring patients at Washington Regional's Women and Infants Center. An OB hospitalist specializes in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized obstetric patients. They provide care for laboring patients if their regular OB-GYN is not present and help manage obstetric emergencies that occur in the hospital.
Carpino has 32 years of experience and has practiced in Kansas, Missouri and most recently as an OB hospitalist with Willow Creek Women’s Clinic in Northwest Arkansas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. She completed her Doctor of Medicine with honors from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas where she also completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
