Dr. Totten Earns Degree of Fellow

Matthew Totten, MD, FAAFP of Washington Regional East Springdale Family Clinic has earned the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). The national medical association awarded more than 250 family physicians with the honor at their annual meeting in New Orleans, LA on October 12.

The Degree of Fellow recognizes AAFP members who have achieved excellence in service to family medicine, professional development and advancement in health care. In addition to tenure, this designation signifies a commitment to the community and continuing education. Dr. Totten joins over 17,500 Fellows nationwide to use the designation FAAFP “Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians”.

Dr. Totten received his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and has been providing family medicine services in Northwest Arkansas since completing his residency at UAMS Northwest, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
