Douglas Seglem, DO, Joins Washington Regional NICU
Douglas Seglem, DO, recently joined the Washington Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where he provides care for newborn infants who are born prematurely or are ill. Washington Regional’s Level III-A NICU, part of the Women and Infants Center, provides the highest level of care available in Northwest Arkansas and is the largest NICU in the region.
Seglem earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed a residency in general pediatrics at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Seglem has more than 15 years of experience in neonatology, most recently serving at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
