Cozart Named Executive Director of Washington Regional Medical Foundation

The Washington Regional Medical Foundation recently named Nancy Cozart, JD as its new executive director.

Cozart brings a wealth of experience to the executive director role and has served as the Foundation’s interim executive director since November 2020. Cozart joined the Washington Regional Medical Foundation eight years ago as the director of development and gift planning and previously worked as director of development for the University of Arkansas School of Law. Prior to her work at the University of Arkansas, Cozart worked in private law practice.

Washington Regional President and CEO Larry Shackelford praised Cozart’s dedication to the Foundation’s mission. “Throughout her career, Nancy has demonstrated a deep commitment to our community and promoting health care improvement through philanthropy and outreach services. She previously served on the board of 7Hills Homeless Center and is currently a member of the Arkansas Charitable Gift Planning Council, the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. I look forward to Nancy continuing to fulfill the Washington Regional Medical Foundation’s mission in her new role.”

Cozart holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Arkansas Tech University and received her law degree from the University of Arkansas.
