Breedlove Achieves Critical-Care Nursing Certification
Melissa Breedlove, a registered nurse and Clinical Coordinator in the Cardiology Unit at Washington Regional Medical Center, recently achieved certification as a Progressive Care Critical-Care Nurse from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. To earn this designation, PCCNs must meet certain eligibility requirements and pass a nationally administered exam.
Breedlove, who joined Washington Regional in 2009, earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing-Informatics from Grand Canyon University and is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the American Nurses Association.
