Bomstad Elected President of Renal Healthcare Association
Rob Bomstad, MS, BS, RN, Washington Regional Medical System’s vice president of joint ventures and chief executive officer of Dialysis Centers of Northwest Arkansas, LLC has been elected to serve as the next president of the Renal Healthcare Association, a national organization that supports dialysis facilities and renal health care providers.
Bomstad has been in the health care industry for more than 34 years and has 22 years of experience in the kidney care industry. Dialysis Centers of Northwest Arkansas provides care in five outpatient centers that offer in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis.
Bomstad is a registered nurse with a background in medical-surgical nursing and emergency/trauma. Originally from Garner, Iowa, Bomstad earned his associate degree in nursing from North Iowa Area Community College and holds both a Bachelor of Science in business administration and Master of Health Science in health care administration from the University of Arkansas.
Bomstad is the Renal Healthcare Association board representative with Kidney Care Partners and serves on the Kidney Care Quality Alliance’s steering committee. In addition, he served as the Network Council Chair on the Health Services Advisory Group board of directors for End Stage Renal Disease Network 13 for several years.
