Walker Heart Institute Cardiovascular Clinic is the premier center for cardiology services in the Northwest Arkansas region, bringing together board-certified cardiologists who provide a wide range of cardiac services and specialties. Walker Heart Institute Cardiovascular Clinic is located on the first floor of the Center for Health Services building at Washington Regional Medical Center.

The mission of Walker Heart Institute Cardiovascular Clinic is to provide patients with state-of-the-art, comprehensive cardiology care in a personable environment. This includes preventive, acute and chronic care of the cardiac and vascular systems. Our physicians look forward to establishing long-term relationships with their patients.

Cardiovascular Clinic Hours
The Clinic is open 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. We are closed on major holidays. Please check local television stations and/or their websites for announcements regarding clinic closures in inclement weather. Patients should call the clinic before coming in during inclement weather.


If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your closest Emergency Room.

After Hours

If you have a medical problem that cannot wait until the next business day, Washington Regional has two Urgent Care locations: in Fayetteville, located at 3 E Appleby Road Suite 101, open Monday-Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; and in Johnson, located at 3561 Johnson Mill Blvd Suite 102, open Monday-Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. If you need to reach an on call provider call 479-463-1000 to have to hospital operator page the physician on call.

Telephone Calls
Telephone calls are answered between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Please call your pharmacy when you need medication refills.

Cardiovascular Clinic Appointments
We make every effort to see you in a timely manner. You may make an appointment by calling 479-571-4338. We request you call to reschedule or cancel if you are unable to keep your appointment time.

What to Bring to your Cardiovascular Clinic Appointment
Please bring all medicines you are taking to every appointment. For your first appointment, we will also need you to bring your insurance cards, a referral from your primary care physician (if required by your insurance company), and any previous medical records.

We accept assignment from Medicare and Arkansas Medicaid and are participating providers with most insurance companies. We file all insurance unless otherwise requested. We file insurance as a courtesy.

Balances not paid by insurance after 45 days will be billed to the patient. Deductibles and co-insurance amounts are collected at the time of service. The Walker Heart Institute Cardiovascular Clinic is in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Cardiovascular Clinic Medical Records
A medical request signed by the patient is required to send or release records to anyone. If you are requesting a copy of your records, there will be an additional fee. We use an outside copy service for our records and processing may take approximately two weeks.
