New J.B. Hunt Transport Services Cancer Support Home

The new J.B. Hunt Transport Services Cancer Support Home (CSH) opened its doors for the first overnight guests on March 29, 2021. The new 9,000 square foot home offers eight well appointed guest rooms with en suite baths, recliners and peaceful views. It is located on 4.4 acres, on East Longview Street in Fayetteville.

The new Cancer Support Home offers the same services as the previous location, but with additional amenities including:

  • Expanded wig and prosthesis boutique with private dressing rooms
  • 8 overnight guest rooms, for patients and their caregiver who travel to Northwest Arkansas for cancer treatment
  • Private bath with each guest room
  • Great Room with large kitchen, dining and living areas
  • Elevator
  • Large, private courtyard and deck areas

Cancer Support Home exists to provide hope and comfort to those on a cancer journey. All programs and services offered through CSH are provided at no cost to our clients. We are grant and donor funded.

The campaign goal for the construction of the new Cancer Support Home was $4.1 million and to date has been met from generous donations including the capstone gift from J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. Naming opportunities are available and funds are still needed for operation of the home.

Campaign chairs are Tamara and John Roberts and their family. “Our family is pleased to serve as the chairs for the Washington Regional Cancer Support Home capital campaign. We are moved by the support available to Cancer Support Home clients and their families as they navigate the unfamiliar road of a cancer diagnosis.”
