Washington Regional Hospice Volunteers
Volunteers offer supportive services for patients and their families. The volunteers are trained to listen and provide practical help, such as:
- Bereavement support
- Limited homemaking chores
- Listening and caring
- Respite care
- Running errands
- Staying with patients
- Visits/phone calls
Washington Regional Hospice volunteers are screened and required to complete training and continuing education.
