Leadership Institute

Health Partners is proud to offer a series of leadership and professional development trainings. The program began with the EDGE Sessions, and then added Customer Care Training. In 2019, Health Partners established its Leadership Institute to broaden its scope to include other and more in-depth training topics, such as:

  • Mastermind Classes – Mastermind Classes are an in-depth discussion and analysis of a popular leadership book, coupled with application to experiences in today’s leadership and healthcare environments. Participants will meet virtually one time per week for thoughtful dialogue and sharing of experiences.

    Number of Participants: Maximum of 15
    Who Should Participate: Anyone who holds a leadership or supervisory position within the clinic

  • EDGE Session – EDGE Sessions equip to develop greater engagement. Everyone would like to see more engagement—with patients, with physicians, with other employees, and even with ourselves. EDGE Sessions provide an overview of soft skills topics that provide greater insight into topics such as recruiting, managing conflict, dealing with difficult people, building vision boards, setting boundaries, prioritizing, getting organized, and much more.

    Who Should Participate: Any and all employees at any and all levels of the organization

  • Customer Care Training – Customer Care Training helps to prepare you and your team for ultimate connection with each other and the patients you serve. Because of the connection, compassion, and competence learned through the CCT:
    • Discover your communication, collaboration, and conflict management patterns using the BEST personality assessment
    • Identify and integrate strategies for improved connection with internal and external customers
    • Demonstrate competencies for solving conflict and reducing workplace drama
    • Increase effectiveness of communication with empathy and listening skills
    • Develop professionalism skills to increase competency within the workplace

    The value derived from investing in the leadership training and/or customer care training includes:

    • Increased job, employee, and patient satisfaction
    • Stronger relationships with each other and patients
    • Intentional growth of individuals and change in the organization

  • Teambuilding – Come learn practical exercises and activities that can be immediately taken back to your organization to strengthen and develop your team.

  • Coaching – Leadership is more than managing your team—it’s setting them up for success and helping to development them to their fullest potential. Developing a coaching culture empowers employees to work toward their best selves while achieving optimal performance.
