What do you like best about your job?
Although balancing the needs of the patient, the clinic and internal hospital departments is challenging, at the end of the day it is rewarding to know that we have met all of their individual needs.
Why did you choose Washington Regional as an employer?
During my nursing sequence in 1983, the difference in the level of care and the committment of the staff was obvious. If I wanted to work for the best it was and is Washington Regional Medical Center.
Describe your family.
Married to Ricky Cochran; 2 sons, Joseph and James Baer; one awesome grand daughter, Chyenne; and my dog, Maggie.
What do you like best about Northwest Arkansas?
The landscape of trees, hills and the four seasons.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding thing about my job is helping the patient--educating them so they are prepared for their visit. I want them to have realistic expectations with no surprises.
