What is your role at Washington Regional? Purchasing Supervisor.
How long have you been at Washington Regional? In total, 15 years.
What do you like best about your job? The interaction with the various people on a day to day basis.
Why did you choose Washington Regional as an employer? I worked at another hospital in a different area of the state before we moved here, and wanted to work at another hospital. I had heard that this was the best hospital around.
Describe your family. My husband, Phil, and I have been married almost 34 years. We have a daughter, Stacey, who works for the Senator. She has one son, Austin, who is 2 1/2 years old, with another baby girl due in May. Her husband, Jarrod, is a teacher.
What are your hobbies? My husband and I like to ride his Harley and go on weekend trips. I also like to fish whenever I get a chance.
What do you like best about Northwest Arkansas? The cleanliness of the area, and it's not far from home for a weekend excursion to nice state parks, Branson, and other places similar to those.
What customer service skills help you manage your job duties? I think the ability to put myself in my customers' place and know how I would like to be treated.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? I know it sounds cliche, but helping others is my greatest reward.
