Har-Ber Family Clinic offers family medicine for all ages. As primary care providers, our clinic offers preventative care as well as care for acute and major illnesses such as diabetes, cardiac disease, gastric disease, thyroid disease and respiratory illnesses.
Our highly skilled physicians and nurses perform a wide range of minor procedures such as skin lesion/mole removals, ear impaction removal, cryo surgeries, wart removals and incision and drainage of abscesses.
About our Team
Deborah A. Hays, M.D., a native of Northwest Arkansas, is proud to be providing medical care to her hometown area. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board-certified in Family Medicine. She received her medical education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and completed her Family Medicine residency in 2000 with UAMS Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Northwest, where she was Chief Resident. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling, playing with her dogs, and spoiling her nieces and nephew.
Kristy Walker, P.A.-C., has joined Deborah A. Hays, M.D., in providing medical care for patients of all ages at the clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Kristy earned a master’s degree from Oklahoma Health Science Center, which prepared her for certification as a physician assistant. Additionally, she joined Washington Regional’s Ozark Urology clinic in 2009, where she continues to see patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kristy enjoys decorating, gardening, hunting, scuba diving but most of all spending time with her family.
Financial Requirements
We accept most major insurances. Your insurance card will be requested at each visit. Copays, your portion of your remaining deductible, and/or co-insurance must be paid at each visit before services are rendered. We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover).

We will make every effort to see you in a timely manner. Please call us at 479-463-2333 to schedule an appointment. You may also request an appointment online.
Hours
Har-Ber Family Clinic is open 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. M-F. We are closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday) and Christmas.
Inclement Weather
Should inclement weather require the clinic to close or adjust hours, announcements will be left on the clinic voicemail and will be reported on local television stations and/or station websites.
Emergencies
In case of an emergency, please go to Washington Regional Medical Center or to the nearest emergency room. If you have a medical problem when the clinic is not open, please call Washington Regional Medical Center at 479-463-1000 and ask the operator to page the physician on call.
Prescription Refills
Patients who take critical prescription medications are advised to adhere to the schedule of lab and office visits recommended by their doctor. Please bring your medications, or a list of them, to your office visit and ask your doctor to write refills for any medications you anticipate needing.
Patients who have been seen by the doctor at appropriate intervals may call for refills on some prescriptions (antibiotics excluded). You may call your pharmacy 2 - 3 days prior to running out of medication so the pharmacy can fax a refill request to the doctor, or you may call the clinic. Please give 48 hours notice for refill requests. Requests received after 2 p.m. will be processed within the next two business days. Refills are done on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Patients who use a mail order pharmacy plan will need to pick up written prescriptions from the clinic and mail them to their providing pharmacy.
