Fayetteville Family Clinic offers Family Medicine for all ages. We welcome new Medicare patients. In addition, the clinic offers bilingual services. We provide laboratory and EKG services.
Dr. Johnny Adkins has offered Family Practice medicine in Fayetteville since 1977. He is certified by the American Family Practice Board. Dr. Adkins enjoys woodworking and sailing.
Dr. Tom Crosby began practicing Family Practice medicine in 1987. He is certified by the American Family Practice Board. He recently moved here from Grove, Oklahoma, where he had received numerous awards throughout his tenure, including Physician of the Year. Dr. Crosby enjoys fishing, canoeing, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.
Services include:
Medical care for adults and children with an emphasis on nutrition and preventive medicine
Treatment of common illnesses, injuries and minor emergencies
Physicals and routine check-ups
The walk-in clinic is a service provided to care for the acutely ill patient who needs to be seen for an acute problem such as sore throat, sprained ankle, fever, abdominal pain etc. It is not an appropriate venue for medication refills or problems which would normally be seen in longitudinal clinic.

Hours The Clinic is open 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. We are closed on major holidays. If the clinic is to be closed, there will be signs posted. Please check local television stations and/or their websites for announcements regarding clinic closures in inclement weather. Patients should call the clinic before coming in during inclement weather. Dr. Adkins is off on Thursday afternoons and Dr. Crosby is off on Wednesday afternoons.
Emergencies In case of an emergency, please go to Washington Regional Medical Center or the nearest hospital emergency room. If you have a medical problem and our clinic is not open, please call Washington Regional Medical Center at 479-463-1000. Ask the operator to page the physician on call.
Telephone Calls Telephone calls are answered between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Please call your pharmacy when you need medication refills.
Refill Guidelines Refills are done daily (advanced notice required). Refills requested after 2 pm will be done the next business day. No early refills on pain medications or narcotics. Refills should be requested from the pharmacy a minimum of 2-3 days prior to running out. Refills will be called in within 48 hours. Call your pharmacy after this time to see if refills are ready. Antibiotics are not refillable. You will need to make an appointment. Patients need to be seen by the provider at appropriate intervals. It is extremely important that you bring your medications, or a complete detailed list of your medications, with you to your appointment. If you need refills on any medications, ask your provider to write them during your appointment. If you are taking critical medications, please adhere to your provider's requirements for lab and office visits. If you have a mail order pharmacy plan, you will need to pick up written prescriptions to mail in.
Financial Arrangements Your insurance card(s) will be requested at each visit. We are conservative in treatment to help limit the cost of medical care. Payments of co-pays, your portion of your remaining deductible and/or co-insurance is required at the time service is rendered. Each time you have a medical visit, you are required to pay. We accept cash, checks and credit (debit) cards.
Appointments We make every effort to see you in a timely manner. You may make an appointment by calling 479-463-2000. We request you call to reschedule or cancel if you are unable to keep your appointment time.
Medical Records A medical request signed by the patient is required to send or release records to anyone. If you are requesting a copy of your records, there will be an additional fee. We use an outside copy service for our records and processing may take approximately two weeks.
