Washington Regional Gala & Eagle Awards Ceremony
Spring welcomes the Foundation’s annual black-tie optional Gala at Walton Arts Center. Over 1,000 guests enjoy internationally-famous entertainers and the presentation of Eagle Awards for outstanding health leadership.

Past artists have included B.B. King, CCR, The Charlie Daniels Band, The Commodores, Foreigner (pictured below), The Supremes starring Mary Wilson and Three Dog Night.

Proceeds from the Gala and Eagle Awards benefit a variety of community health projects. Sponsors are prominently recognized by an elite audience of Northwest Arkansans at the event and through a variety of electronic and print media.
Friends of Washington Regional Hospice Summer Garden Party

Early summer ushers in what has become the social event of the season - the Hospice Garden Party.
For more than 20 years, hundreds of people have gathered at an exclusive private residence and enjoyed beautiful grounds, fine entertainment and great food and spirits to toast Arkansas’ oldest hospice program.

Washington Regional Hospice provides medical, social, spiritual and volunteer care for the terminally ill--regardless of age, condition or ability to pay--as well as bereavement support for their loved ones.
Through the generosity of our community no one in need is ever turned away.

Faith In Action Savor the Flavor
Soon after Labor Day, Faith in Action’s annual fundraiser - Savor the Flavor - takes place around the eclectic and exciting Dickson Street District of Downtown Fayetteville.
A self-guided walking restaurant tour, Savor the Flavor offers hundreds of participants the opportunity to taste samples of house specialities from approximately 15 local eating establishments.

Proceeds from the event benefit homebound, disabled and the elderly in Northwest Arkansas, who receive free nonmedical services - chore assistance, friendly visits, grocery shopping, telephone reassurance, transportation and yardwork - via a network of trained volunteers.

Washington Regional Golf Classic
In September, golfers gather for this 4-person scramble to support various healthcare programs and services – such as the Cancer Support Home and Washington Regional’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). A delicious breakfast and lunch, as well as prizes and gifts, are provided to participants. Hole-in-one opportunities and other contests make this a fun-filled day for sponsors and supporters.
Friends of Washington Regional Hospice Autumn Brunch
Each November, in celebration of National Hospice Month, the Friends of Hospice welcome guests to the annual Autumn Brunch in the private residence of a gracious host family. A seasonal buffet and beverages, live entertainment, home tour, prizes and other surprises offer attendees a wonderful fall experience. All proceeds benefit terminally ill patients and their families in Northwest Arkansas.
