What is your role at Washington Regional? I am the Cath Lab Tech Manager.
How long have you been at Washington Regional? I will have been here 20 years in March.
What do you like best about your job? I would say that the best part of my job is all the people I come in contact with both patients and staff. We have a really good group in the Cath Lab that I work with closely with and all of the other departments I associate with regularly are always very friendly and helpful.
Why did you choose Washington Regional as an employer? I was recruited by Brad Ford in Radiology right out of X-Ray school and I have been happy with the decision ever since.
Describe your family. I have a wife-Jackie, a daughter-Emilee, and a son-Caden. They have always been very understanding of my job. It's not easy being "on-call" and having to miss some events in their lives.
What are your hobbies? At this point in my life it would be my kids, who has time for anything else, they will only be little once.
What do you like best about Northwest Arkansas? I like the fact that it has so much to offer, from outdoor activities (hiking, boating, fishing, and hunting) to sports (Razorbacks and the Naturals), to all kinds of cultural events.
What customer service skills help you manage your job duties? The ability to listen and reason, having a positive attitude and always treating everyone with respect.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Just knowing that I am making a difference in people's lives. It's not always only our patients that are in need of healing of some kind.
