Northwest Arkansas Neuroscience Institute is committed to providing an integrated, multi-specialty approach to diseases that affect the nervous system. Patients may require specialized diagnostic testing or individualized rehabilitation under the supervision of doctors with expertise in the treatment of neurological diseases. We provide a full array of services to help people cope with neurological problems, neurosurgical intervention and pain management. Equally important is our shared commitment to work with referring and primary care physicians to care for each patient and family member with respect, compassion and personal attention.
Neurology Our neurologist provides care for adult patients with all types of neurological disorders. He provides consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services for treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. Clinic subspecialties include memory and cognitive disorders, neuromuscular disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, seizure disorders, movement disorders, stroke, multiple sclerosis, reflex sympathetic dystrophy and headaches.
Neurosurgery Neurosurgery involves the surgical treatment of diseases and disorders of the brain, nervous system and spine. Our neurosurgeons provide diagnostic, consultative and therapeutic services to patients with all types neurological problems for which surgery is indicated. They are board certified and specialize in intracranial neurosurgery and complex spine surgery.
Pain Management Pain management is a branch of medicine that applies science to the reduction of pain. It covers a wide spectrum of conditions including neuropathic pain, sciatica, postoperative pain and more. Doctors who specialize in pain management recognize the complex nature of pain and a pain doctor approaches the problem from all directions. Research has led to the development of newer, more effective treatments for people who have pain. Most kinds of pain have become treatable through methods including medications, nerve blocks, physical therapy, electrical stimulations, surgery and psychological support.
The clinic is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm. Holiday closings include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Signs will also be posted when the clinic is going to be closed. Patients should call the clinic before coming in during inclement weather.
In case of an emergency, please go to Washington Regional Medical Center or the nearest hospital Emergency Room.
Refills will be done Monday – Thursday. Refills requested after 2pm will be done the next business day. No early refills on pain medications or narcotics. Refills should be requested from the pharmacy a minimum of 2-3 days prior to running out. Refills will be called in within 48 hours. Call your pharmacy after this time to see if refills are ready. Patients need to be seen by the provider at appropriate intervals. Please bring your medications or a list of your medications with you to your appointment. If you need refills on any medications, ask your provider to write them during your appointment. If you are taking critical medications, please adhere to your provider’s requirements for lab and office visits. If you have a mail order pharmacy plan, you will need to pick up written prescriptions to mail in.
We make every effort to see you in a timely manner. Call 479.463.3000 to make an appointment. We request you call to reschedule or cancel if you are unable to keep you appointment time. There will be a $25.00 fee for any appointment cancelled without a 24 hour notice.
Your insurance cards are requested at the time of you first visit. Payments of co-pays, your portion of your remaining deductible are/or co-insurance is required at the time service is rendered. Each time you have a medical visit, you are required to pay. We accept cash, checks and credit (debit) cards. Please contact our office prior to your appointment if you need to make payment arrangements.
A medical request signed by the patient is required to send or release records to anyone. If you are requesting a copy of your records, there will be an additional fee.

In order for our medical staff to determine your diagnosis and treatment plan, you must bring all radiographic studies (CT scan, MRI, etc) and any medical records pertaining to your current medical condition. Also please bring the following:
Insurance cards and any other insurance information
Complete history and personal information forms
ALL RADIOGRAPHIC STUDIES. REPORTS AND ACTUAL FILMS OR CD-ROM.
