AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
The American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care, such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics. Successful completion of this course results in a 2-year AHA certification card.
- The 2-day ACLS initial course costs $225 per student.
- The 1-day ACLS update (renewal) course costs $175 per student. Enrollment in the update course is limited to students who hold a current (non-expired) ACLS provider card from the American Heart Association.
- There is an additional $70 book cost if the student does not provide their own 2011 ACLS Provider Manual and 2010 Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
The student must hold a current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) certification card from the American Heart Association and present the card on the day of class.
