Our 20-bed Progressive Care Unit offers specialized care for patients hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome or cardiovascular surgery, including:

• Placement of stents, pacemakers or AICD
• Carotid endardarectomies
• Femoral-popliteal bypass
• Thoracotomies
• Thoracoscopies

Teams of physicians, nurses, case managers, dietitians, physical therapists and respiratory therapists offer these patients individualized attention specific to their needs. Hospitalists and intensivists may also be part of the care team.
