Mission Statement:  The Pastoral Care Department of Washington Regional Medical Center provides support for the emotional and spiritual needs of its patients, families and staff, regardless of race, culture or religious persuasion. A chaplain is available for counseling and spiritual support 24/7, and may be reached by dialing the operator (0) on any hospital phone or by calling the hospital at 479-463-1000.  Please ask the operator to page the chaplain on-call.

The Pastoral Care Staff is trained to provide support in the following ways:

• Pastoral Care Daily Rounds
• Surgical Chaplaincy
• Pastoral Services are available to provide spiritual support to hospice patients and families at WRMC or at home.
• The hospital provides two separate chapels in order to meet the spiritual needs of patients, families and friends.
• Opportunity for Clinical Pastoral Education
