 Walker Heart Institute offers a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, nurses and technologists who are dedicated to the prevention, management and eradication of cardiovascular disease. Our collaborative, comprehensive approach to healthcare combines state-of-the-art equipment with the expertise of five board-certified cardiologists, one electrophysiologist and three board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons.

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Walker Heart Institute is the top laboratory in the region, performing more than 3,000 diagnostic heart catheterizations each year and 900 interventional procedures. It features three procedure rooms integrated with intravascular ultrasound, one electrophysiology room and one peripheral intervention room, all with easy access to our cardiovascular surgical suites. Our staff is on call 24 hours/7 days a week for immediate treatment of acute cardiac cases.
